Individual / one-on-one sessions

no previous art skill or training is needed. I work with people from all walks of life including business people and artists. My practise is LGBT friendly and accessible to people with disabilities.

Studio- 15 x 20 foot home studio with sprung floor in a quiet setting in the Yonge and Eglinton area (ten min walk from subway).

Hours- Private practice hours are weekdays, 9:30 am- 8:30 pm.

An example of what can occur in a typical session

  • The participant discusses recent events (similar to talk-based therapy)
  • Themes arising can become starting points for art making
  • The client is supported in leading themselves in their own process
  • Focus on body awareness can enable participant to use their body sensation and intuition as a guide
  • Kathleen offers support and witnessing of the creative process
  • Kathleen may participate in the art making
  • Layering in additional art modalities may deepen the experience
  • The art-making process can illuminate and inspire aspects
of the one's life and emotional world
  • There can be time for discussion
  • At-home exercises can be given
    to bridge studio experiences
    with the outside world.
